State level National Means cum
Merit Scholarship Scheme exam 2012 for 8th class students will be
conducted on November 20 at all the Revenue Divisional Headquarters of
the 23 districts in the State. Applications can be had from the school
concerned and the last date to submit the application forms is September
15. Students who have scored at least 55 per cent marks 50 per cent for
SC and ST students in the 7th class examinations in 2010-11 and who
have studied in government or government-aided schools only are
eligible.
Students who have studied in A.P. Residential High Schools, Social Welfare Residential Schools, Tribal Welfare Residential Schools, Kasturba Residential Schools, Government Ashram High Schools, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, Kendriya Vidyalayas and private unaided schools are not eligible. The examination fee is Rs. 100 for all candidates, while SC and ST students have to pay Rs. 50.
