CLAT 2011 results soon-New CLAT format too lengthy, takes 2 hours time

Common Law Admission Test 2011...
The new pattern of CLAT 2011-Common Law Admission Test troubled students on Sunday, The new pattern of CLAT paper too lengthy for the 2 hours allotted to them. CLAT 2011 was held in 19 cities, holds the key to the 1,200-odd LLB and LLM seats across 11 law schools and at least seven other institutions. 24,256 candidates had applied for the fourth edition of the pan-India exam. The 200-mark examination had questions on English, general awareness, logical reasoning, legal aptitude and quants.
It was the verbal ability and legal reasoning section that took students by surprise. The paper was very lengthy, especially the verbal ability part. Most students could have missed 25-30 questions. There was hardly any vocabulary or grammar and analytical reasoning — a deviation from the usual CLAT pattern. The paper was a marked deviation from the previous CLAT papers, and students found it difficult to complete the paper on time. Not one of the mock papers I had attempted had such a pattern.

Delay in SSC 2011 results, No fear Early admission schedule only for corporate colleges

No SSC results date up to now, Bieap officials do any thing for money???
Board of Intermediate Education on 12th this month released the admission schedule for Intermediate first year even before the announcement of SSC 2011 results, in favor of private and corporate colleges.
As per BIEAP admission schedule, the sale of Inter application forms will begin on May 26. The last date for receipt of application forms is May 30. Students allege that BIEAP has given license to corporate colleges to admit students even before the announcement of SSC merit list. This shows that the admission process in most colleges is illegal. Most demanding for change in the admission dates.
Even Govt Junior College Lecturers' Association also came down heavily on the BIE. The early announcement is meant to help corporate colleges violate all rules. Even students who have not cleared SSC will be able to take admission as per this schedule. However BIE officials said that the board will change the admission pattern if SSC 2011 results are declared after May 26.

Malaria Mosquitoes Accurately Find Their Way to Smelly Feet

ScienceDaily (May 6, 2011) — Malaria mosquitoes utilize CO2 from exhaled air to localize humans from afar. In the vicinity of their preferred host, they alter their course towards the human feet. Researcher Remco Suer discovered how female malaria mosquitoes use foot odors in the last meters to guide them to their favoured biting place. Suer, who is defending his doctoral thesis May 9 at Wageningen University, part of Wageningen UR, sees possibilities to disrupt the host seeking behaviour of the malaria mosquito.
