G.O.RT.No. 3578. Dated:30.10.2014 :: General Administration (Services Welfare) Department - Employees Health Scheme (EHS) – Constitution of Steering Committee under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary to Government to review the implementation of the Scheme from time to time – Orders - Issued.

O R D E R:
1. In the G.O.1st read above, Government have issued orders for notification of Employees Health Scheme (EHS) intended to provide cashless medical treatment to the State Government Employees / Pensioners and their dependent family members in empanelled network hospitals. For review the implementation of Employees Health Scheme (EHS) from time to time and to make appropriate recommendations for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the scheme and decided to constitute a Steering Committee under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary to Government with 40% members from employees and pensioners associations, and 60% members from Government.
2. In the G.O. 2nd read above, Government have issued orders to constitute a Committee under the Chairmanship of Sri S.P.Tucker, IAS., Spl.Chief Secretary to Government, Planning Department to recommend the composition of Members in the Steering Committee to review the implementation of the Employees Health Scheme (EHS).
3. Based on the recommendations of the Committee constituted under the Chairmanship of Sri S.P.Tucker, IAS., Spl.Chief Secretary to Government, Planning Department and with reference to the orders issued in the G.O. 3rd read above, Government after careful examination of the matter, here by constitute the Steering Committee with the following members:

4. The Steering Committee constituted above shall review the implementation of the Employees Health Scheme (EHS) from time to time and shall meet frequently as required, discuss, monitor and review the Scheme, benefit packages, grievances, quality of medical care including the modalities of an Employees Health Trust.
